Dress Code & Club Policies

Members and guests to The Ledges Golf Club are expected to dress in a manner befitting the surroundings and atmosphere of the Club.

The following are required standards that must be adhered to, both on the golf course and in the restaurant.

Gentlemen:
Shirts with collars and sleeves, slacks or golf shorts are considered appropriate attire. Tank tops, tee-shirts, bathing suits, sweat pants, denim clothing, tennis shorts or other athletic shorts are not permitted.

Ladies:
Dresses, skirts/skorts, slacks, golf shorts and blouses are considered appropriate attire.  Halter tops, tee-shirts, bathing suits, sweat pants, denim clothing, tennis dresses and athletic shorts are not permitted.

Shoes:    
Golf shoes must be worn with “soft spikes”.

Smoking:
Ledges is a completely non-smoking facility, which includes all walkways, Pro Shop, Dining Room and outside deck. Please use smoke towers to dispose of your tobacco products.

Parking:
Handicap parking is available in the north front lot. The circle drive at the front entrance is considered a fire lane and for bag drop only, therefore parking in these areas are prohibited.  Please use designated parking areas only.

Food & Beverage:
No outside food or beverages may be brought on Ledges property. All food and beverages consumed on Ledges property MUST be purchased from the the restaurant.

 

GENERAL RULES FOR ALL PATRONS

  1. USGA rules of golf apply at all times except as amended by the local rules. Local rules are available in the golf shop, when applicable, and/or are printed on the score card for your review.
  2. Obscene, profane, or abusive language will not be used or tolerated.
  3. Players are expected to replace all divots and to repair all ball marks on the greens and tees. Also players are to rake sand smooth in bunkers and leave the rakes in the bunkers.
  4. Each player must have his/her own set of clubs and a bag. No more than one player may play from one bag.
  5. Carts (hand or power) will not be pulled or driven in the areas between the green and surrounding bunkers or across the tee box areas or greens.
  6. Throwing clubs or willful damage to the course (i.e. damaging of greens or hitting club into the ground and causing damage) will not be tolerated.
  7. Extreme care should be taken when removing and replacing the flagstick. The putter head should not be used as a retriever to extract golf balls from the hole.
  8. Allow faster groups to play through. Please adhere to the "ready golf" policy whenever faster groups are present.


POWER CARTS

  1. No more than two riders (no matter the age of the occupants) may occupy a power cart at any time due to safety reasons. Power carts must be driven using the 90 degree rule, unless instructed by the Pro Shop. Players requiring special cart rules (e.g. handicapped/injured) are to keep carts at a minimum of 30 feet from all greens and tee boxes.
  2. In order to operate a power cart, a valid driver's license is required to be in the possession of the driver.
  3. During inclement weather or extreme wetness, all carts must remain on approved cart paths or designated areas at all times.
  4. Players will be required to double up on carts, only two (2) carts per foursome unless approved by the Pro Shop.
  5. Please leave the cart key in the cart after completing your round.
  6. Carts are allowed in the parking area in order to pick up and drop off clubs. After completion of the round, please return carts to the cart staging area.
  7. Carts must be in at a reasonable time of day, by dusk and not on the course when it is dark.  Players with carts may be asked to bring carts in at the pro shop’s discretion.
  8. Users will be held responsible for any damage to power carts.
