The par 72 (6,500 yards) public golf course near Springfield features panoramic views of Pioneer Valley as it winds through natural wetlands, rock ledge outcroppings, mature forests, and historic farmland. The Howard Maurer golf course design has elevated greens with manicured bent grass greens, 78 bunkers, and plush fairways always maintained in tournament conditions.

With 4 sets of tees, the Ledges is designed for players of all ages and abilities. The Ledges Golf Club provides handicap golf carts to disabled golfers, and the club house is handicap accessible.

We are known throughout the Springfield and Hampshire County in Massachusetts as “Public Golf Course with a Private Feel”. We are also known for our reasonable rates – in line with other municipal golf facilities in the western Massachusetts region. The Ledges is more than a golf course – it’s a nature preserve in Western Massachusetts. When out on the golf course, keep an eye out for great horned owls, the red-tailed hawks bald eagles, blue herons, ospreys, beavers, painted turtles, and even bobcats. Wildlife appears to be thriving at The Ledges, after the course implemented the Audubon International's Cooperative Sanctuary Program, which limits the use of dangerous pesticides and fertilizers.
